MANCHESTER UNITED - WEST BROMWICH ALBION BETTING: BACK RED DEVILS TO AVOID DEFEAT

The Old Trafford outfit will be hoping they can continue their unbeaten run in the English topflight since their 4-0 defeat to Chelsea in October 2016
Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion will trade tackles at Old Trafford this Saturday for their Premier League encounter.

The Red Devils have not lost an English topflight game since their 4-0 demolition at the Stamford Bridge in October, while they moved to the fifth position on the table for the first this year after Middlesbrough 3-1 before the international break and they will come into this match as clear favourites with Merrybet at odds of (1.40).

Mark Hughes men’s chances of avenging their 2-0 deficit at the Britania Stadium last year December is very low, as they have been handed the heavy underdogs tag at a price of (9.50) to claim maximum points away from home. The visitors are eighth on the log, and they will be hoping they can upset their hosts despite their tag to better their standing on the table.

Meanwhile, the chances of the two teams ending the game in a stalemate goes for (4.95).

Both sides will be meeting for the 111th this weekend with the home team winning 50 of those meetings, while 35 had ended in draws, but the guests have won two out of their last three matches at Old Trafford.

Looking at their last results in their respective games, both sides had a chance to score in those meetings, and this is a pointer to all the punters that the two sides will have equal chance to score in this fixture at odds of (2.05), while the chances of Jose Mourinho’s men winning both halves of this encounter will be available with the same betting company at (3.05), with the absence of their highest goals scorer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is still under suspension.

United were unable to stop their opponents from scoring in their last two EPL outings, and a chance for them to keep a clean sheet in the new month will go for (1.75), with David De Gea in goal for the hosts, but the Baggies are tipped to win either half of this encounter at odds of (3.80) with Merrybet.

The odds does not favour the away team to score in both halves of this game and this could be as a result of their last defeat to Chelsea FC, but the odds for them to find the back of the net in the two stanzas of this clash is available at a price of (7.75) after normal regulation period.
